All 27 TCAT campuses across Tennessee extend Spring Break

TCAT places the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors as one of our highest priorities. For this reason, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak and coordinating with local and state entities to reduce the risk of transmission on our campus.

TCAT has developed a Pandemic Corona Virus (COVID 19) Preparedness Plan and are implementing the following protocols according to the plan.

Spring Break will be extended an additional week from March 16th to March 20th. At that time, it will be determined if classes will resume on March 23rd.

Students should regularly check the TCAT websites for updates. In addition, the school will continue to communicate via School Cast messaging system, phone calls, and emails.

TCAT Administration is currently evaluating alternative teaching methods should there be a need to cancel classes further than March 20th.

Although we have not experienced any active coronavirus cases on any of our campuses, we believe the steps we are implementing are consistent with local and state health guidance and will help reduce risks and protect our community. These steps also give our custodial services an opportunity to perform a deep cleaning and sanitizing of all campus areas. The cleaning will comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

TCAT administration is continuously monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak because the health and safety of those that visit the campuses and the general public is a priority.
