Bridgestone - Supply Chain Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Supply Chain Analyst I, this position is on the Supply Chain OE Consumer OE Supply Planning team which is responsible for working directly with OE customers, OE Sales, and Logistics to make sure that our customer's needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work directly with the OE customers, taking their orders and making sure that all are delivered in time · Work closely with plant warehouses to ensure loads are delivered as planned · Monitor and move discontinued inventory · Minimize premium freight · Monitor OE inventory levels by meeting with the production planners · Maintaining and rotating safety stock · Monitoring aged inventory · Monitoring ASNs daily · Maintaining current and accurate customer information in SAP and in customer order logs · Maintaining correct material line ID status in SAP · Keeping scheduling agreements current and updated · Backup for other CSRs

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree required · Minimum of two years proven experience as a CSR · Capable of analyzing customer requirements and developing solutions · Experienced in Excel, Tableau, SharePoint, preferred · Experience in problem solving and negotiation, desired · Familiarity with and working knowledge of SAP, desired · Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and experience with relationship-building, a must · Excellent communication skills, speaking and writing, a must
