A Bluff Street man was arrested Sunday with what is believed to be more than 350 oxycodone pills after a search warrant was executed at his home.
Jesse Wright now faces several felony drug charges and a weapons charge.
“It was a good drug bust and good to get all those drugs off the street,” said District Attorney General Lisa Zavogiannis. “There are a lot of people overdosing on pills in this area so maybe this arrest will help with that.”
Wright is charged with possession of a firearm in commission of a dangerous felony, possession of schedule II drug (over 350 oxycodone pills), possession of schedule VI, possession of schedule II (meth), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers with the Drug Task Force, Warren County Sheriff’s Department and McMinnville Police Department assisted in executing the search warrant. Also found on the property was a large amount of cash.
