Lynchburg Music Fest is still on for its October dates amidst COVID-19.
Other festivals have been cancelled or attempted to reschedule due to the pandemic, but the three-day Lynchburg Music Fest in Moore County is moving forward with its October dates.
Taking place in Lynchburg, the home of Jack Daniels, the country music festival will be held Oct. 22-24. The festival’s land spans more than 100 acres and includes three stages.
A series of precautions to prevent the spread of COVID has been put in place for Lynchburg Music Fest attendees.
Enforcing the wear of face masks. Attendees will be provided masks if they do not already have one
Increasing sanitation across festival grounds
Adding extra space for social distancing, including at campgrounds
Decreasing the capacity level of the festival
Adding a significant increase in security personnel to ensure social distancing practices near stages and across festival grounds
Administering COVID-19 screenings and temperature checks to every individual entering the premises
Those with any symptoms will not be permitted inside.
Artists scheduled to perform include Josh Turner, Kip Moore and dozens more, as well as a variety of vendors and other forms of entertainment.
Three days of live music, camping and more will be part of this year’s Lynchburg Music Fest. For more information or to order tickets visit lynchburgmusicfest.com.
