It’s been a year of success for Brown Lee Ford as owners Greg Brown and David Lee approach their one-year anniversary in Warren County in November.
“We are the fastest growing Ford dealership out of 3,072 in the nation,” said Brown. “That’s year over year with 2019 compared to 2018.”
Both men previously owned Ford dealerships in Middle Tennessee, one reason they were able to hit the pavement at full speed.
“We’ve been very pleasantly surprised,” said Brown. “We’ve sold 267 percent better than our objective set out by Ford on what they expected us to sell and our parts and service business has tripled. We’re glad we made this investment and we’re glad to be a part of this community. We’ve been the corporate sponsor at the fair and been involved with Warren County High School.”
When it comes to the local market, Brown Lee Ford sells slightly more used vehicles than new. But when you factor in the sale of specialty vehicles which are shipped all over the country, Brown said it’s about an even 50-50 split between new and used.
The specialty vehicles are loaded with top-of-the-line equipment and gadgets. Brown Lee Ford is an exclusive dealer of the Hennessey line and also sells vehicles customized by Shelby and Roush.
Brown Lee Ford also had the distinction of unveiling the classic Gulf Heritage Mustang – Limited Edition with serial number 001 in Monterey, Calif., in August. The car made its debut at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance show.
The dealership has an extensive selection of certified, pre-owned vehicles. These are vehicles that have been owned a year or two, have been given a 280-point inspection, and are still under warranty.
“Certified pre-owned is a great option for farmers who might not want to pay the money for a new truck,” said Greg. “This way they may feel like they can get a few dings on it and a little dirt in it.”
Brown Lee Ford is located at 5917 Manchester Highway and can be reached at 668-2177.
