Black Rifle Coffee Company is a veteran-owned company serving premium coffee and culture while supporting service members in America.
The company’s focus is on creating the highest quality coffee with the same determination they learned while serving in the military. Black Rifle Coffee Company is committed to supporting veterans, law enforcement and first responders.
"Black Rifle Coffee Company is quite literally the combination of my two favorite passions,” says CEO and founder, Evan Hafer. “I take pride in the coffee we roast, the veterans we employ and the causes we support.”
The company roasts over a million pounds of coffee per year and grosses over $30 million annually. High-quality coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil are imported and roasted five days a week from two facilities in Manchester, TN and Salt Lake City, UT. Customers choose their favorite brews out of a wide variety of coffee roasts, and those are then roasted, packaged and shipped to their doorsteps.
The headquarters of Black Rifle Coffee Company opened in Salt Lake City in 2014. Former Army Green Beret, Evan Hafer founded the company and was dedicated to giving back to first-responders of all kinds. A second facility opened in Manchester in August 2018.
Coffee County was a great fit for the company, not only due to the name, but the fact the company’s fulfillment center is in Mt. Juliet. The decision was made to invest $6 million in a coffee roasting facility located in the area.
When it comes to supporting first-responders, about 70% of the employees are veterans. Hafer and his team at StreetShares fund a large number of veteran-owned businesses offering veteran business loans and contract or invoice financing. The support of the coffee blends by consumers also supports those who’ve served or are currently serving on the front lines protecting America in every aspect.
The company's website states “BRCC is committed to supporting deployed service members, community programs and other causes that strive to make our nation great.”
